WEBSTER ... Debra A. (Parmenter) Joubert, 57, died Wednesday, June 15. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James D. Joubert, Sr.; a son, James D. Joubert, Jr., and his wife, Melissa, of Worcester; two daughters, Jennifer Consiglio, and her husband, Ralph, of Boca Raton, FL, and Jodie Joubert, and her partner, Harold Carter, of Concord, NC; three sisters, Jean Scott, of Shrewsbury, Joanne Grainger, of Dudley, and Kathy Pajala, of Worcester; two brothers, Harold Parmenter, Jr., of New Jersey, and Edward Parmenter, of Worcester; seven grandchildren, Seth, Blake, Evan, Tyler, Jaelyn, Harold and Ethan; and Jennifer Lord, who she considered a "daughter", and her husband, Eric, of Whitinsville. She was predeceased by a brother, Dana.
Mrs. Joubert was born in Worcester, January 17, 1959, a daughter of the late Harold and Bernice (Smith) Parmenter. She grew up in Shrewsbury, attended Shrewsbury schools, and lived in Oxford and Worcester before moving to Webster five years ago.
She was a personal care attendant at Southgate, in Shrewsbury, and also had several private clients, prior to retiring due to ill health ten years ago.
She was a talented knitter and crocheter, enjoyed gardening, her rock collection, motorcycle riding, and loved her dog, "Peanut".
Calling Hours will be held from 6-8 PM, Monday, June 20, in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville. Additional services will be private.
