Donna Lee (Burroughs) Ashcraft

NORTHBRIDGE ... Donna L. (Burroughs) Ashcraft, 67, died Wednesday, April 19, in the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She is survived by two daughters, Kristin Steele, and her husband, Daniel, of North Ridgeville, OH, and Karen Ashcraft, and her wife, Katherine Braun, of Beaver Creek, OH; a son, Scott Chabot; grandchildren, McKenzie, Finn, and a soon-to-be born baby girl; a sister, Nancy Frieswick, and her husband, Donald, of Northbridge; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ashcraft was born in Northbridge, November 28, 1949, a daughter of Wayne and Lucienne (Roberge) Burroughs. She grew up in Northbridge, and graduated from Northbridge High School in 1967. She lived in Ohio from 1985 until returning to  Northbridge in 2016.

She was a nurses aide at The Lutheran Home, on Westlake, Ohio, for many years, and previously worked at the Beaumont Nursing Home in Northbridge.

Mrs. Ashcraft was a former member of the Northbridge Centre Congregational Church, and she attended the Grafton Congregational Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and flower arranging.

Mrs. Ashcraft's Funeral Service is Friday, May 26 at 10AM in the Carr Funeral Home, preceded by a visitation period from 9-10AM .  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
