James M. Green

Woonsocket, RI--James M. Green, 59, died Saturday, January 28, at the Trinity Rest and Rehab.  He leaves his son, James M. Green, Jr. and his partner,  Nikki Powers, and their son Joseph M. Green, of Moosup, CT.  He also leaves 5 brothers, Joseph G. Green, III and his wife Donna, of Madison, AL, Richard D., and  his wife Joy, Gerry F., Marty J., and his wife Maura Mahoney, Paul, and  his wife Catherine; 2 sisters,  Kathryn A.  Lamoreaux , and her husband Al, and Rita L. Wallen, and her husband Scott, all of Whitinsville; an aunt, Olive and her husband Don Morneault, of Londonderry, NH, and  many cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was predeased by his wife, Catherine Crane, in 1993.

Jim was born in Winchester, MA, January 18, 1958, a son of the late Joseph G. and Joan H. (Piper) Green, Jr.  He attended Blackstone Valley Tech before enlisting  in the US Army.  He worked as a truck mechanic for several area companies and loved to fish.  Known as "The Jig" by his friends, he will be remembered for his loyalty  and  good heart.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 1, at 4:00PM, in the Carr Funeral Home.  Please omit flowers.  Memorial donations may be made to the John 21 Community Breakfast, 7 East St. PO Box 60, Whitinsville, MA 01588
