John D. Sheehan, Jr.

SUDBURY ... John D. Sheehan, Jr., 88, died Saturday, December 24, in the Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence, Wayland, following a period of declining health. He was predeceased by his wife, Maureen (Stevens)Sheehan. Mr. Sheehan is survived by two sons, John D. Sheehan, III, and Steve Sheehan; three daughters, Maureen Fausch, Kim Ridenour, and Donna Graham; 13 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Mr. Sheehan was born in Concord, November 22, 1928, the son of John and Margaret (Gately) Sheehan, and grew up in Concord. He attended Concord High School, Boston College High School, and graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1951. A Captain in the United States Marine Corps, he was a Korean War Veteran.

Mr. Sheehan worked at the General Motors Assembly Plant in Framingham, where he was Superintendent of materials.

Mr. Sheehan's Funeral will be a private graveside service, in the New Town Cemetery, Sudbury. There are no Calling Hours.
