Jonathan D. Albro

On November 18, 2017, Jon lost his hard fought battle against the disease of addiction. 

Jonathan grew up in Millbury and Holliston, graduating from Keefe Technical High School and later becoming an accomplished optician.  He worked for Cambridge Eye for 14 years and recently for Warby Parker of Boston.

Jon was known for his amazing sense of humor and gregarious personality.  Fishing was Jon's passion throughout his life.  He loved his metal rock and guitarist Alex Skolnick and the New England Patriots.

He leaves his mom, Barbara Wade, his dad David Albro and step-mother, Laura Albro; brothers Mike and Jessie and sister Olivia.  He also leaves behind the love of his life, Laurie Lingenfelter.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Jon's life will be held at the Dudley Gendron Post, 156 Boston Rd., Sutton, MA on January 6, at 7:00PM. 

To honor Jon's memory, memorial donations may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church, #2069 Project, PO Box 55, Wrentham, MA 02093.  Founded by the Wrentham Trinity Episcopal Church,  #2069 is a campaign to raise awareness of the opiod crisis in Massachusetts.  The number 2069 represents those  who were reported to have died from opiod use in the state of Massachusetts last year.
