South Grafton ... Kenneth J. Guhman, Jr., 78, died Friday, November 3, in the UMass Memorial Medical Center, following an illness. He is survived by his wife, Constance (Grenier) Guhman; two sons, Kenneth J. Guhman, III, and his wife, Melissa, of Lake Wales, FL, and John A. Grenier, and his wife, Deanna, of Shrewsbury; a daughter, Lynne Voggu, in India; a brother, Gary Guhman, of Burrillville, RI; a nephew, Gary M. Guhman, of Orlando, FL; and six grandchildren, Ryleigh, Joshua, James, Jenna, Jake, and Ryan.

Mr. Guhman was born March 23, 1939, in Queens, NY, a son of Kenneth J. and Elaine (Koerner) Guhman, Sr. He attended Assumption Prep and graduated from Shrewsbury High School, He lived most of his adult life in Douglas and South Grafton.

With his brother, he owned Toke Products in South Grafton for many years until his retirement .

Mr. Guhman attended Saint Peter's Church in Northbridge, and was an active member of the Northbridge Senior Center, where he delivered meals on wheels, drove seniors to medical appointments, and ran the pool league. An avid outdoorsman, Ken led many white water rafting trips, and guided many hikes with the Appalachian Mountain Club. He loved soccer and coached youth soccer for many years in Douglas, Webster  and Wilmington, VT. He also coached little league baseball in Douglas.

Mr. Guhman's Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, November 8, in Saint Peter's Church, followed by burial in Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton. Calling Hours will be 5-7 PM, Tuesday, November 7, in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northbridge Senior Center, Highland St., Whitinsville, MA, 01588, or the Leukemia Research Foundation, 191 Waukegan Road, Northfield, IL, 60093.
