Nancy C. (Bruneau) Murphy

Brunswick, ME--Nancy C. (Bruneau) Murphy, 71, of Brunswick, ME, died November 16, 2017 at Horizon Living Rehab.  She was born on May 31, 1946, to Romeo and Edith (Ashton) Bruneau in Whitinsville.

Nancy attended Northbridge High School and graduated in 1964.  That same year she started her career in Civil Service with the US Navy in Newport, RI and retired from the US Army New England Recruiting Battalion in 2006.  During her career she was awarded several honors for performance and loyal years to the Department of Defense.

Nancy is survived by her son Sean Murphy and wife Danielle, of Brunswick, ME and granddaughter Maisie Grace;  sister Sandra Smith and her husband Wallace of Whitinsville, MA; a niece Meredith Robertson and husband Barry and their three children, of Douglas.  She was predeceased by her parents, daughter Shannon and granddaughter Mollie Jane.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 19, 5-7PM.  Nancy's Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 20, at 11AM at St. Peter's Parish in Northbridge; burial will follow in Riverdale Cemetery.
