Shirley (Lightbown) Hanna

Sutton—Shirley (Lightbown) Hanna, 94, died Thursday, January 11 in the Beaumont Nursing and Skilled Rehabilitation Center.  She leaves three sons; Stephen Hanna, and his wife Debbie, of Sutton; Richard Hanna, and his wife Kathy, of Vero Beach, FL and David Hanna, and his wife Kelly, of Phelan, CA;  grandchildren  and great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Robert L. Hanna, in 2009.

Mrs. Hanna was born in Northbridge, November 26, 1923, a daughter of Frank and Ethel (Brooks) Lightbown.  A graduate of Northbridge High School, she worked in the accounting department for Bank of America in Whitinsville for many years, prior to retiring.  She loved the Celtics, but was fanatical about the Red Sox; she never missed a game.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
