Warren Mooradian

WAYLAND ... Warren Mooradian, 96, died Monday, May 1, in Sunrise of Wayland. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary (Unsworth) Mooradian. He is survived by a son, James Mooradian, and his wife, Mary, of Brookline; a daughter, Barbara Ghazarian, and her husband, Vatche, in California; and four grandchildren, Alison, Melissa, and Lindsay Mooradian, and Talin Ghazarian.

Mr. Mooradian was born in Whitinsville, the son of Eli and Irene (Malkasian) Mooradian. He grew up in Whitinsville, and lived in Connecticut for many years. He was a graduate of Northbridge High School, and  he served in the United States Navy during World War II.

He was stock broker at Coburn and Meredith, and as a young man , he worked at Pratt and Whitney as a tool designer.

Mr. Mooradian was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the new England Patriots.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, May 6, in Pine Grove Cemetery, Linwood Avenue in Whitinsville. There are no Calling Hours.
