Whitinsville ... Genevieve H. (Rosol) Romeszewski, aka, Rymeski, 92, died Monday, December 5, in the Lydia Taft House, Uxbridge, surrounded by her loving family.  Her husband, Chester C. Rymeski, died in 1999. She is survived by a son, Edward Rymeski, and his wife, Tina, of Whitinsville; two daughters, Nancy R. Thompson, and her husband, Jack, of Uxbridge, and Christine M. Rymeski, of Whitinsville; a son-in-law, Mark Lorion, of Athol; two sisters, Leonora LaFrancois and Lottie Sanders, of Jewett City, CT; seven grandchildren, Melissa , and her husband, Peter, Kathleen, and her husband, Mark, Stephen, and his wife, Amanda, Alexander, Barbara, Genevieve and Nicholas; and five great grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan, Anna, Allie, and Hailey; and several  nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three daughters, Lois Lorion, and Barbara Ann and Constance Rymeski; and five siblings, Helen, Mary, Bertha, Emma, and John.

Mrs. Rymeski was born in Northbridge, December 24, 1918, a daughter of Joseph and Magdalena (Glowacka) Rosol. She grew up in Jewett City, and attended the Norwich Free Academy. She had lived in Whitinsville for 65 years.

An accomplished seamstress, Mrs. Rymeski worked at several textile mills throughout the Blackstone Valley.

She was a member of Saint Patrick's Church in Whitinsville. She loved the time she spent with her family, cooking, gardening or at the ocean.

Mrs. Rymeski's Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM, Friday, December 9, in Saint Patrick's Church, Cross Street, Whitinsville. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery. Calling Hours will be 6-8 PM, Thursday, December 8, in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville.

Memorial donations may be made to the Renovation Fund at Saint Patrick's Church, 7 East Street, Whitinsville,MA, 01588.

Dear Romeszewski Family,
We all thank you for giving us the privilege of caring for Genevieve. She was part of our family and she is already missed. She was the sweetest lady and the staff all loved her. We will pray that you find some peace in the difficult days ahead. Take care.

We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Jenni's passing. She was a wonderful, kind and lovely lady, she will be missed by our entire family. Least we never forget all of her wonderful polish food and happy times, when all the sisters were still here. Love to you all ~Laurie, Bill and our family

Dear Nancy Thompson and Rymeski family, I just found out today December 8th about Jenni's passing. I am very sorry for your lose. I have fond memories of her. I remember going to visit with my mother "Olga (Rosol)" when Jenni lived in an apartment on Main St near the shop "Whitinsville Machine Works".
