Northbridge ... Douglas A. Farley, 84, died Saturday, December 24, in the Milford Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his wife of 24 Years, Gloria (Lussier) Farley; a son, Thomas A. Farley, and his wife, Ann, of Northbridge; a stepson, Donald R. Bruneau, and his wife, Diana, of Uxbridge; a sister, Nova Fraser, of San Diego, CA; six grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. His first wife, Emma (Marsden ) Farley, died in 1984. He was also predeceased by a brother, William Farley, and two sisters, Mildred Hamm and Alma Parent.

Mr. Farley was born November 22, 1927, In Detroit, MI, a son of Elmer and Alice (Rogers) Farley, and had lived here since 1928. He attended Northbridge schools, and worked in the former Whitin Machine Works for 46 years, retiring in 1989. He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II. He was a longtime member of the Blackstone  Valley United Methodist Church in Whitinsville.

Mr. Farley's Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, December 29, in the Blackstone Valley United Methodist Church, 63 Linwood Avenue, Whitinsville. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling Hours will be 5-7 PM, Wednesday, December 28, in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville.

Please omit flowers. Memorial donations may be made to the Blackstone Valley United Methodist Church.
