Arnold,MD ... Mary E. (McNelly) Knight, 79, formerly of Whitinsville, died Tuesday, July 24, following an illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard N. Knight. She is survived by three sons, Troy N. Knight and David N. Knight, of Arnold, and Bryan N. Knight, of Landover, MD; a daughter, Susan E. Windfield, of Glen Burnie, MD; a granddaughter, Erin; two brothers, Merrill McNelly, of Sutton, and Clyde McNelly, of Douglas; and a sister, Francis E. McNelly, of Whitinsville. She was predeceased by three brothers, John, Charles and George McNelly.
Mrs. Knight was born in Whitinsville, February 20, 1933, a daughter of John and Agnes (Thompson) McNelly, and lived there until moving to Maryland in 1954. She attended Northbridge schools.
A devoted wife and loving mother, her Memorial Service will be held at a time to be announced, in the Blackstone Valley United Methodist Church in Whitinsville. Memorial donations may be made to the Blackstone Valley United Methodist Church, 61 Linwood Avenue, Whitinsville, MA,01588.
