Whitinsville- Margaret F. (Marteka) Hamilton, 95,  died Saturday, December 29, at home.  She was born May 27, 1917, in Clymer Pennsylvania,  a daughter of John and Mary (Sobol) Marteka.  Margaret leaves her devoted husband of more than 65 years, Roy Hamilton.  Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Cynthia Leduc, of Uxbridge; a son, Kenneth Hamilton and his wife Diane, of Ashburnham; 4 grandchildren: Tammy Caron and her husband Chris, of Whitinsville and Kayla, Cody and Connor Hamilton all of Ashburnham; one beloved great-grandchild, Maggie Lynn Caron; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her 3 brothers Stanley, Anthony and James Marteka and her sister Mary Cenedella.

Margaret moved to Whitinsville at a very young age.  She attended the Northbridge schools and worked at the former Whitin Machine Works until she married and became a full time homemaker and raised her and Roy's family.  She was a member of Saint Patrick's Church, loved gardening, sewing and was an excellent cook.  In past years she and her husband especially enjoyed trips to the West, North and South.

Calling Hours will be Wednesday, January 2, from 5-7 in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill St., Whitinsville.  Her Funeral Mass will be Thursday, January 3 at 11AM in Saint Patrick's Church, Cross St., Whitinsville. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery.
