Thomas B. Walsh, age 62, died Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, after an illness. He leaves his beloved wife of 35 years, Lisa (Burke) Walsh; three daughters: Courtney Hoskins and her husband Leland, of Fowler, IL; Taylor Prive and her husband Christopher, of Whitinsville; and Alivia Walsh and her partner Dan Cacciola, of Northbridge; a brother, John Walsh, Jr., of GA; two sisters; Julie Twiss, of SC; and Cheryl Walsh, of MA; four grandchildren: Brayden and Mason Hoskins, and Benjamin and Gavin Prive; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Brian Walsh and Patricia Walsh.
Born in Boston on March 12,1962, a son of the late John and Patricia (Bready) Walsh, Sr., Thomas grew up in Norwood and was a graduate of Norwood High School. He lived in Norwood and Millis before moving to Northbridge where he and Lisa raised their family. He worked as a professional residential interior and exterior painter for several decades.
Thomas enjoyed listening to classic rock and attending concerts with family and friends. He was a true family man; movie nights and family dinners were among his favorite times. He and Lisa spent many years camping with the family at State Line Campground, in Connecticut where lasting friendships were made. Thomas loved his dogs and his family.
