UXBRIDGE … Armand W. Boulanger, Jr., died at home, surrounded by his loving family, Friday, June 1. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 53 years, Elsie (Sylvia) Boulanger; two daughters, Michelle Baldwin, and her husband, William, and Joelle Violette, and her husband, Michael Sweck, of Northbridge; six grandchildren, Jessica Kuindersma, Cory Baldwin, Jake Violette, Kelsey Violette, Delanie Baldwin, and Caleb Sweck; three great grandchildren, Charlie Kuindersma, Ellouise Baldwin, and Waylon Violette; and a sister, Mal Merrill, of Moltonboro, NH.
Mr. Boulanger was born in Peterborough, England, December 30, 1945, the son of Armand and Doris Annie (Dixon) Boulanger. He grew up in New Bedford and Fall River, and lived in Whitinsville for 40 years before moving to Uxbridge 11 years ago. He was a graduate of Fairhaven High School, and the Carnegie Institute in Boston.
He was the Director of Business Development at Lifespan Corporation in Providence for 17 years. Previously he worked at sales and management positions at multiple medical labs in the area.
Armand was first of all, a devoted family man, whose many interests included boating, golf, fishing, and meteorology. He was a member of the Whitinsville Golf Club.
His Funeral Mass will be held at 10am, Wednesday, June 6, in Saint Patrick's Church, Cross Street, Whitinsville. Calling Hours will be 5-7pm, Tuesday, June 5, in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville.
