NORTHBRIDGE … June L. (Wright) Kelley, 95, died Wednesday, October 30, in the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. She is survived by her children: Charles "Raymond" Kelley, of Blanchard, OK; Michael Kelley, and his wife, Rose; Dana Kelley, and his wife, Judy, of Lowell; June Applebey, of Nashua, NH; and Robert Kelley, of Oklahoma City, OK; a sister, Shirley Kempton, of Millville; 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, John "Steven" Kelley, and two daughters, Sheila Willsey, and April Farson.
Mrs. Kelley was born in Milford, February 6, 1924, a daughter of Clayton and Theresa (Rogers) Wright. She grew up in Milford and Hopedale, and lived in Sutton for many years. She was a graduate of the Massachusetts School of Practical Nursing, and worked at the former Pine Grove Villa Nursing Home in Millbury, Saint Camillus Hospital in Whitinsville, and Worcester State Hospital.
A woman of great faith, Mrs. Kelley was a member of the Blackstone Valley United Methodist Church in Whitinsville, and she also attended Faith Fellowship in Uxbridge. She enjoyed participating in mission trips to Mexico with her church friends. She was active at the Northbridge and Sutton Senior Centers.
A graveside Funeral Service will be held at 11am, Saturday, November 23, in South Sutton Cemetery, Hough Road, Sutton. There are no Calling Hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Blackstone Valley United Methodist Church, 61 Linwood Avenue, Whitinsville, MA, 01588.
