Mary J. (Kangas) Peterson

Sutton--Mary J. (Kangas) Peterson of Sutton, MA went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2018 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by her husband Marlow and her two sons, Roy and Joel. She leaves 5 daughters and 4 sons: Jean Poole and her husband Steve, Fred Peterson and his wife Sheila, Donna Magowan, Wayne Peterson and his wife Carol, June Peterson, Brenda Wise and her husband Steve, Nathan Peterson, Eric Peterson and his wife Muriel, and Karen Beaupre.  Mary also leaves 23 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren (with one on the way), and four siblings; Reino Kangas and his wife Joan, Carlo Kangas and his wife Cindy, Gail LeBlanc and George Kangas.  She was predeceased by her brothers Norman, Francis and Edward.

Mary grew up in Worcester, and graduated from North High School.  Mary and Marlow moved to Sutton where they raised their 11 children and many foster children.  They were active in the Uxbridge Nazarene Church (now Valley Chapel) for many years.  They enjoyed spending summers at Douglas Camp Meeting and Portsmouth Camp Meeting.

Mary's family was her life and she will be missed by everyone.
