Robert Earle Fowler

Uxbridge ... Robert E. Fowler, 71, died Tuesday, January 22, in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester, following an illness. He is survived by a son, Robert S. Fowler, of Uxbridge; a daughter, Heidi A. Fowler, of Worcester; a sister, Joanne Backus-Wolfe, of Spencer; and his former wife, Marilyn (Delfanti) Fowler, of Uxbridge.

Mr. Fowler was born in Worcester, August 26, 1941, the son of Robert and Grace (Kahrman) Fowler, Jr. He grew up in Worcester and graduated from North High School. He moved to Paxton in 1963, and lived in Whitinsville from 1980, until moving to Uxbridge in 1995.

He was a foreman at the Massachusetts Electric Company where he worked for 38 years, prior to retiring in 1998. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Viet Nam Era.

Mr. Fowler's graveside funeral service will be held  at 11 AM, Saturday, February 2, in Pine Grove Cemetery, Linwood Avenue, Whitinsville, preceded by a Calling Hour from 9:30-10:30 AM, in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville.
