Ruth (VanBrug) Boudreau

Northbridge--Ruth Boudreau, 91, passed away Thursday, January 11, at home after a brief illness.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest W. Boudreau, a son Dennis Boudreau of Gardiner, Maine, and his wife Kathy, daughter Judith Schotanus of Whitinsville, and her husband Peter, daughter Wendy Brodeur of Columbia, Tennessee and her husband, Richard.  She was predeceased by her son Carl Boudreau and his widow Susan of New Braunfel, Texas.  Mrs. Boudreau had 12 grand children, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great, great-grandchild.  She and her husband recently celebrated 71 years of marriage.

Mrs.Boudreau volunteered at St. Camillus Hospital, was a den leader and  Girl Scout leader. She was on both the Valley Airs and Valley Airs Alumni Corps Committees, the Northbridge Senior Center F.I.N.E. Committee and she worked the election polls for many years.  She was an active member of the Northbridge Senior Center, and the Silver Sneakers program of the Whitinsville Community Center. She was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.

 Calling Hours are  from 10-11AM, Saturday, January 20, followed by a Memorial Service at the funeral home.
