Susan R. (Brouillette) Hermann

Douglas--Susan R. (Brouillette) Hermann, 65, died Friday, November 10, in the Knollwood Nursing Center, as a result of Lewy Body Dementia.  She leaves her husband of 43 years, Paul W. Hermann; a cousin Leo Benoit, of FL and several additional cousins.

Susan was born in Slatersville, RI, January 24, 1952, the only child of Gerard and Lorraine (Lamy) Brouillette.  She and Paul were married at St. John the Evangelist Church in Slatersville.  She  was a graduate of North Smithfield High School, Framingham State College and earned a Masters Degree at UMASS Amherst.  Prior to retiring in 1996, she taught Home Economics in the Worcester Public Schools.  Susan developed her own curriculum while teaching Fashion Design and Commercial Food Preparation at  North High School and Worcester East Middle School.  Susan enriched many lives throughout  her 26 year career.  She and Paul enjoyed traveling throughout Europe.  Susan was passionate about animals.  She loved her three German Shepherds, her cats and aquarium.

An informal gathering of family and friends will be Friday, November 17, 11AM to Noon.  A Memorial Service will begin at Noon, followed by a reception at the Whitinsville Golf Club, Fletcher St., Whitinsville.                            .
