Agnes A. Beaulieu

Agnes Anna Beaulieu left us May 14th, surrounded by family and friends after a 2-year battle with breast cancer. She was born in Lebanon, NH, and was predeceased by her parents Leo L. Beaulieu and Mary (Sweeney) Beaulieu.  She leaves her sisters Mary (Beaulieu) Contino of Whitinsville, Anne M. Beaulieu of Marion, and her best friend Betty (Ovian) Smith of Uxbridge, and many cousins.   She also leaves her family of Juans.

Agnes graduated from Northbridge High School, class of 1976, and Worcester State University, in 1980, with a business major.  She worked for the State of Massachusetts for over 35 years.  She worked for the Office of Secretary of State, the Department of Public Health, and retired from the Gaming Commission as the Finance, Budget, and Procurement Director.

Agnes enjoyed traveling all over the world with family and friends.  She especially enjoyed visiting family in Australia, Hong Kong, Korea, and Colombia.  Most recently, she enjoyed seeing the Pope in Rome and spending time at her home in Florida.  She was also an avid card player, and followed Boston sports, particularly the Celtics.  Agnes was active in Saint Patrick’s parish and served on their financial board.

Agnes will be deeply missed.  Her request was that her family and friends contribute to the Saint Patrick’s Building Fund, 7 East St., Whitinsville, MA 01588, in lieu of flowers.   Give https://giving.parishsoft.com/App/Giving/PS-1443 

Calling Hours are Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Carr Funeral Home, from 4-7PM.  Agnes' Funeral Mass at Saint Patrick's Church will be at 11AM on Friday, May 24, 2024.  Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery.  The Funeral Mass will be live streamed; the link will be posted below the obituary prior to the service.
