Alice E. (Harrington) Hartmann

     Alice E Hartmann, 89, died peacefully in her sleep, Wednesday October 4, 2023, at Advinia Care Nursing and Skilled Rehab.  She leaves three sons: Kurt and his wife Lorraine, of Massachusetts; Gary and his wife Susann, of North Carolina; Philip and his wife Jacqui, of Connecticut; 3 grandchildren: Craig, Heather and Glen; 3 step grandchildren Mandy, Bobby and Kate; and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Hartmann in 2019, her parents Michael and Vera (Copeland) Harrington, and her stepfather Armand Blain.
     Mrs. Hartmann was born June 9, 1934, in Brooklyn, Connecticut. She was one of eight children. She was raised in Connecticut on a farm and graduated from Danielson High School.  She married Harold Hartmann on June 18, 1955. They lived in Putnam, Connecticut for several years and later moved to Whitinsville where they raised their family.
     In keeping with her wishes, services are private.
