Amy M. (Newton) Mason, age 42, died Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, Burlington.  She leaves her husband Richard Mason and their family: Logan and Liam Kestenbaum, Benjamin Mason, and Abigail, Elizabeth and Emily Mason, all at home.  In addition, Amy is survived by her mother, Maryann Newton, of Whitinsville, her twin brother Andrew Newton and his wife Elizabeth and their sons Jacob and Matthew, of Paxton, her maternal grandmother Joan Mansfield, of Floral City, Florida; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She was predeceased by her first husband David Kestenbaum, her father Timothy Newton, grandfather Michael Mansfield, and grandparents Florence and Francis Newton.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island on September 18, 1983, Amy was raised in Northbridge where she graduated from Northbridge High School in 2002.  She continued her education at Roger Williams University where she majored in Communications and graduated in 2006.  Amy was a pharmacy software manager for Meditech, working out of the Foxborough and Canton offices.

Amy had a lifelong passion for New England sports.  She and Rick surprised their families and friends by getting married on Super Bowl Sunday and were sure to celebrate their anniversary every Super Bowl.  She was a devoted mother to her children, supporting them in all their activities and endeavors while working full time.  Amy’s idea of a perfect day was spending a lazy Sunday with her family watching sports and being together.
