NORTHBRIDGE  Arlene M. (Laflash) Murray, 79, died Thursday, July 16, 2026, in the Milford Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, George S. Murray; two sons, Stephen Murray and his wife, Kristine, of Punta Gorda, FL and Christopher Murray, and his wife Amy of Whitinsville; three grandchildren, Katie Murray, Cooper Murray, and Spencer Murray and several nephews and nieces. Arlene was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Yvette (Lussier) Laflash, two grandsons, Michael and Eric Murray and her sister Suzanne Cronin.

A lifelong Northbridge resident, Arlene graduated from Saint Mary's Central Catholic High School in 1965, and from Anna Maria College in 1969. She was a foreign language teacher  at Nipmuc Regional High School for 37 years prior to retiring. She was a member of Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Northbridge where she served on the bereavement committee.

Arlene’s  Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 21 at 10 a.m. in Saint Peter's Church, 39 Church Ave, Northbridge, followed by burial in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Whitinsville. Calling Hours will be held on Monday, July 20, from 5-7p.m. in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville, MA 01588.
