The family of Barbara Moore announces with great sorrow her passing on January 2, 2021. Barbara was born in Boston, MA on October 23, 1956. She is survived by her devoted husband and childhood sweetheart, Davey Moore Sr of Blackstone, MA. She is the daughter of Richard Higgins Sr. and the late Barbara Higgins and sister to Richard Higgins Jr and John Higgins of Pawtucket, RI. She is the loving mother of Barbie Moore of Attleboro, MA, Sherie Bellan and her husband Bill Bellan of Blackstone, MA, Davey Moore Jr and his wife Michele Moore of Johnston, RI, Laurie Lynch and her husband Stephen Lynch Jr of Douglas, MA. She leaves her cherished grandchildren Randy Allard, Brooke Gross, Tyler Allard, Aidan Lynch, Caleb Lynch, Claudia Bellan and Cooper Bellan and great grandchildren Arianna Gross, Winter Gross, and Tristan Gross.
Barbara’s passions included celebrating and decorating for the holidays, attending Renaissance fairs with her husband, and the music of Rod Stewart. She was also an avid lover of animals, but most specifically dogs. She was an outstanding dog trainer. She rescued her dogs and volunteered her time and money to helping animals in need. Barbara also enjoyed spending time with her family and husband. She never missed a single event and was present at the birth of every grandchild. She was immensely devoted to her family.
Due to social gathering restrictions, the family is having a private gathering at Carr Funeral Home in Whitinsville, MA on January 15, 2021 and asks in lieu of flowers to send donations to the North Attleboro Animal Shelter.
