Beth C. Olson

Beth C. Olson, 62, of Whitinsville, passed away at home Thursday, March 4, 2022. She leaves her daughter Jennifer Tetreault and her partner, DJ Cochrane of Dayville, CT; a son Joseph Tetreault and his fiancé Angelene Bishop of Milford, MA; her mother Carole Olson of S. Dakota; two sisters, Paige Gammon, and her husband Donald Gammon; Julieanna Murray, and her husband Alan Murray; all of Northbridge; one brother, Bruce Olson Jr. of South Carolina; three grandchildren: Ella, Colton and Anthony; and many nieces and nephews.  Beth was preceded in death by her husband Tony Tetreault, her father Bruce Olson, and her oldest daughter, Lindsay Tetreault.

Beth was born February 11, 1960, in Northbridge. She graduated from Northbridge High School in 1978. After graduation she earn her barber certification and CNA license and worked at George’s Barber Shop, in Worcester, and St. Camillus, in Northbridge, for quite a few years. Beth was a member at both Northbridge Center Congregational Church and Rockdale Congregational Church for many years.

Many people would describe Beth as a fun, loving, spontaneous person. She made friends wherever she went. She always had to have her flower and vegetable gardens at whichever house she lived. Beth was an avid reader of fiction stories and would read inside her garden for hours. She also had a love for horses her whole life. Beth’s greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren.

Services are Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Carr Funeral Home.  A Memorial Service will be held at 10AM; there will be a period of visitation, from 9-10AM, prior to the Memorial Service.
