Brenda M. (Coakley) Perry

Brenda Marie (Coakley) Perry, age 59, died at home Sunday, October 22, 2023.  Brenda leaves a son, Jeffrey Perry, of Worcester; two brothers: Brian Coakley, of Thompson, CT, and Robert P. Coakley, of Whitinsville; a grandson Jared Perry; and two nephews Thomas and Scott.  She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Coakley.

The daughter of the late Robert J. and Janet (Poulin) Coakley, Brenda was born in Whitinsville on June 29, 1964.  She graduated from Northbridge High School and in 1997 graduated Cum Laude from Framingham State University.  She lived in Northbridge and Uxbridge before moving to South Grafton 20 years ago.  Brenda was a person of great faith and loved Jesus; she attended the Sturbridge Worship Center where she was an active volunteer as a greeter and the prayer team.  She loved her family and grandchildren, enjoyed going out to eat and being social with family and friends.  Brenda also enjoyed swimming at the Whitin Community Center.  She will be remembered for her big heart and always looking for the good in people.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10AM, Sunday, October 29, 2023, at the Sturbridge Worship Center, 9 Mashapaug Rd., Sturbridge, MA 01566.  A committal service will be held at 11am, Monday, October 30, in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Providence Road, Whitinsville.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brenda's memory to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, Help Fight RA, 8815 Conroy Windermere Rd., Suite 309, Orlando, FL, 32835.
