Carolyn A. (Philbrook) Dougan

Carolyn A. (Philbrook) Dougan, 92, died Monday, September 13, at Adviniacare Northbridge. She was predeceased by her husband, George Dougan, and her sisters, Dorothy Plante and Alice Haynes. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Dougan was born in Northbridge, April 24, 1929, a daughter of Walter and Madeline (Small) Philbrook, and lived here most of her life. She was a graduate of Northbridge High School. She lived in Edgewater, Florida for several years, and resided at the Crown and Eagle in Uxbridge, before moving to the nursing home.

Carolyn belonged to the Order of Moose in Florida. She and George enjoyed square dancing, and, in later years, she enjoyed playing Bingo and activities at the Northbridge and Uxbridge Senior Centers.

Funeral services will be held privately, and there are no Calling Hours. Burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Northbridge or Uxbridge Senior Centers.
