David P. Picotte, 80, died Monday, January 3, 2022, while surrounded by family. He leaves 4 children: Jeffrey P. Picotte, and his wife Noralee, of Whitinsville, Steven P. Picotte, and his wife Jennifer, of Uxbridge, Nicole Go, and her husband Stephen, of Dudley and Heidi Helstrom, and her husband Eric, of Douglas. In addition, he leaves 10 grandchildren and his sister Lorraine. He was predeceased by his wife Nellie (Jellesma) Picotte in 2002, and his brother Victor.
A son of Victor and Olivette (Jacques) Picotte, David was born July 27, 1941, in Northbridge. He was a graduate of Northbridge High School and a veteran of the United States Army. He worked many years as a service mechanic for the Boston Globe. In 2002, he moved to Florida, living in Barefoot Bay and Clermont before returning to the area. He was a lifelong car enthusiast and in retirement enjoyed playing golf. Above all else, David loved time together with his family.
