Donna Lee (Dunbar) Letondress

NORTHBRIDGE ... Donna L. (Dunbar) Letondress, 63, died at home, Sunday, December 17, following a period of declining health. She is survived by her Mother, Theresa (Normandin) Dunbar, of Uxbridge; two sons, Edward G. Ahern, of Milford, and Nicholas Dunbar, in Arizona; two daughters, Melissa Drew, and her husband, Todd, of Oxford, and Tiffany Dunbar, in Arkansas; two brothers, Eldon Dunbar, Jr., in the Philippines, and Edward Dunbar, of Milford; three sisters, Betty Steel, in Indiana, Deborah Fitzpatrick, of Uxbridge, and Sylvia Sabourin, and her husband, Peter, of Whitinsville; and five grandchildren, Anthony, Briana, Faith, Matthew, and Colin. She was predeceased by her Father, Eldon Dunbar, and a sister, Jo-Ann Garrett.

Mrs. Letondress was born in Northbridge, May 12, 1954, and grew up in the area. She attended the Good Shepherd School in Linwood, and Hopedale High School. She lived in Arizona more than 20 years before returning to Northbridge three years ago. While living in Arizona, she worked as a medical assistant at a walk-in clinic in Tempe.

Mrs. Letondress was a member of Saint Peter's Church in Northbridge. She loved animals and took in many stray cats and dogs. She enjoyed playing Bingo, and generally loved life. She was especially proud of, and loved spending time with, her grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 1pm, Saturday, January 6, in Saint Peter's Church. Memorial Calling Hours will be 6-8pm, Friday, January 5, in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville.
