Doris Jaqueline St. Marie, 95, died Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Advinia Care of Northbridge, where she had been a resident for the past 12 years.

She is survived by her nephew George St. Marie, III and two nieces, Jacquelin Valentine and Mary Kralik.  In addition she leaves her close friends and caregivers, Mary Mulrenin and Angelo Mirabile. Doris was predeceased by her two brothers, Paul St. Marie and George St. Marie, Jr.  

Born on November 19, 1929, in Dudley, MA, she was the daughter of the late George and Leona (Despault) St. Marie. Doris grew up in Perryville and Webster and graduated from St. Ann’s High School in Webster. Ms. St. Marie lived in Sommerville for a short period before moving to Whitinsville. For 42 years Doris was a clerical assistant for the New England Telephone company in Boston and Worcester until her retirement in 1990.

Doris was a former member of St. Patrick’s Church in Whitinsville. She loved listening to classical music.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday August 6, 2025, at 10AM at St. Peter’s Church, 39 Church Ave, Northbridge, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
