E. Douglas Campbell, 63, died peacefully at his home, on August 25, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. Doug is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 25 years Tonya (DiCillo) Campbell who has not left his side during his illness; two sister Bonnie Lu Campbell of Manchester, England and Tracy Loughead and her husband Mark Jackson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; in laws Deborah Kmiotek and Kenneth DiCillo; sister-in-law Trena and her husband Bob Haroutunian; several nephews and nieces; a great niece Olivia and he was the best dog dad to his beloved Boston Terriers Scooter, Bubba and Paisley. He was predeceased by his sister Kerry Lee Campbell in March.
Born in Providence, RI, on September 3, 1959, he was the son of the late Edward S. and Erna (Manson) Campbell. He attended Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, where he played hockey and graduated Class of 1977. He worked for the Town of Weston for 32 years. Doug will be missed by his many "work wives" and his group of friends that he shared many motorcycle adventures with. He was an avid motorcycle rider; he also enjoyed riding dirt bikes, bicycles, golfing, collecting motorcycles and toy antiques.
A celebration of Doug's life will be held at the Uxbridge VFW, 13 Cross Rd Uxbridge, MA, on Sunday, October 22, from 1 - 5 p.m.
