Earl Norman Hinkel, 100, died Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Born October 29, 1919, in Plainfield, NJ, he was the son of the late Howard Milton and Dora Tyson Hinkel. Mr. Hinkel proudly served his country as a World War II Army veteran and worked until the age of 96.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Ann Hinkel Fulks and her husband Larry; three sons, Retired Col. Robert Earl Hinkel and his wife Jackie, Retired Col. Thomas Norman Hinkel and his wife Donna, Peter Lee Hinkel and his wife Denise; four grandchildren, Michelle Hinkel, Robert Hinkel, John Pittman, Madison Smith and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of years, Elenor Gogolewski Hinkel, and two brothers, Howard Henry Hinkel and Frank Tyson Hinkel.

While living in Northbridge, Mr. Hinkel worked several years for the former ATF Davidson company and was a member of the Fairlawn Christian Reformed Church.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 9, at 11AM in Pine Grove Cemetery, Linwood Avenue, Whitinsville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Folds of Honor, Department 13, Tulsa, OK, 74182.
