Born March 27, 1929 in Northbridge, where she resided until moving to Milford only 2 years ago, she was the daughter of Joseph and Eugenie (Gagnon) Lauzier. As a young woman, she worked for Paul Whitin Manufacturing in Rockdale, Tuppers in Grafton and made hats at home for one of the local hat factories. Later, she worked as an assembler for General Electric, in Ashland, retiring from Telecron.
"Ditto" was a life-long member of Saint Peter's Church, where she sang in the choir and served on the Bereavement Committee. She was known as a wonderful cook and enjoyed sewing and knitting. Her true passion, however, was singing. She was a member of the Knights and Maids choral group for many years and continued to sing until the end.
