Edward K. Renaud Jr., 80, died Monday, February 10, 2025, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Ed is survived by his wife, Susan (Morvan), and their grandchildren Remmi, Jack and Charlie Davis.
Ed was predeceased by his wife, Geraldine “Gerri” (Nadeau) Renaud; and is survived by his sons Rick Renaud and his wife Joyce of Paxton, Paul Stuczynski and his partner Shelly Galonek of Northbridge, Edward K. "Chip" Renaud III and his wife Melissa of Northbridge; his daughter Gerra-Lee Nadolski of Tennesse and her partner Michael Stanley, his brothers Michael Renaud of Grafton and his partner Judy, William Renaud of Worcester and his partner Mary, Ronald Renaud of Yarmouth and his wife Margaret and Thomas Renaud of West Yarmouth; his sisters Colleen Sorenson of Florida, Maureen Chumsae of Barre, and Kathy Leofanti of Douglas; ten grandchildren Catherine, Jarred, Megan, Samantha, Kayla, Jon, Anthony, Alexis, Jacob, and Dylon; three great grandchildren Breklyn, Jace and Henry; and many loving nephews, nieces, and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Tammy Ann Renaud and his brother Richard Renaud.
Born on April 28, 1944, in Worcester, Ma., he was the son of the late Edward K. Sr. and Rose (Girouard) Renaud. Mr. Renaud lived in Grafton for many years before moving to Whitinsville.
For over 50 years, Ed was a respected real estate broker and developer in the Blackstone Valley. His career began at Renaud Realty and later evolved into Linwood Ave. Realty. He played a significant role in developing several condominium and housing projects throughout the area. Even in his final days, he remained committed to his work, taking calls and managing the business he had built with passion and perseverance. Ed built a lasting legacy through his dedication to family, business, and community.
Beyond his professional life, Ed found joy in vacationing in Florida, particularly in Cocoa Beach and Orlando. He also enjoyed playing daily Keno games, a pastime that brought him simple pleasures.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Carr Funeral Home, located at 24 Hill St., Whitinsville, Massachusetts. His funeral service and burial will be private.
