Eugene Bufford

Eugene Bufford, 75, died Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in Brigham and Womens Hospital, Boston, following a period of declining health. He was predeceased by his wife, Zoila Delgado, and he is survived by four daughters: Marie Delgado, of Whitinsville, Zenaida Bufford, of Worcester, and Janessa and Alexis Bufford, of Woonsocket, RI, and a grandson, Vaughn Delgado.

Mr. Bufford was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, June 7, 1948, the son of Jacob and Marie (Rouse) Bufford. He grew up and graduated from high school there, later living in Framingham, before moving to Whitinsville 27years ago. He proudly served in the United States Army, and he was a disabled veteran of the Vietnam War.

A quiet, friendly man, Eugene's life was focused on his daughters and his grandson. He enjoyed camping and traveling in his RV.

Calling Hours for Mr. Bufford will be held from 1-3 pm, Sunday, November 26, in the Carr Funeral Home. He will be buried, with military honors, Monday, November 27, in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
