Gary Kazarian

Gary John Kazarian, 67, died Saturday, February 4 after a long period of declining health. He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Grace (Kinoian) Kazarian, and his brother, Richard Kazarian, his Aunt Grace and Harry Kazarian as well as his Aunt Betty Donabedian who passed a few months ago. Gary is survived by his Aunt Gladys and Uncle Jerry Lujan of Tucson, AZ and their sons Michael and Christopher. He leaves cousins, Brian Donabedian and his wife Judy of Auburn and their daughter Stephanie and Taylor, Karen Riccardi and son James, and Mark Donabedian and son Andrew and daughter Eliza of Worcester, and several cousins in Rhode Island. He was supported and loved by close friends Alan Dean, Marvin Flye, Leo Sabapino and his caregiver George Taylor who died suddenly while Gary was in the hospital. 

Gary was born in Whitinsville, November 17, 1955, and was a lifelong resident. He attended Northbridge schools. A true entrepreneur, Gary was a successful businessman, buying and selling antiques and brokering estate sales.

A member of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Whitinsville. He loved music and played guitar and drums; he also had a talent for painting which he inherited from his Grandfather Ohan. Gary was so dedicated to his cat, Amy.

Gary's family wishes to recognize the day nurses at Advinia Care especially Rachel Carlisle who he had special bonding with for the excellent care he received. Also, a thank you to Salmon Hospice for all of their support as well.

Gary's Funeral Service will be held at 11am, Friday, February 10, in Soorp Asdvadzadzin Armenian Apostolic Church, 315 Church Street, Whitinsville, with burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.  Calling Hours will be 5-7pm, Thursday, February 9, in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville.
