Gordon W. Bousquet
January 12, 1936 ~ October 12, 2016 (age 80) 80 Years OldWhitinsville--Gordon W. Bousquet, 80, died Wednesday, October 12, in Saint Vincent's Hospital, after a period of declining health. He leaves his loving wife of 40 years, Stacy (Kurowski) Bousquet. He also leaves his daughter, Janet Trapp, her husband Sean and their son Ethan, of Hudson. He is predeceased by his brother, Harold Ryder.
Mr. Bousquet was born in Merrimac, on January 12, 1936. He was raised in Manchaug and attended the Sutton schools. A veteran of the US Army, he spent time stationed in Austria and Chicago. He worked for Reed and Prince, in Worcester, as a quality control technician for 35 years. In 1995 he began working at New England Pest Control in Providence until he retired about 5 years ago.
An avid cyclist in his younger years, Mr. Bousquet participated in numerous fundraising rides for both MS and the Alternatives Unlimited Valley Tour. In 1981 he completed a ride from Massachusetts to Washington DC. He was a huge Patriots fan and loved cars; he purchased a new car every two years.
Mr. Bousquet's Funeral Mass will be Saturday, October 22, at 12 noon, at St. Patrick's Church, Whitinsville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
