Heather L. (Pilibosian) Whitney

Heather L. (Pilibosian) Whitney, died Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the UMASS Memorial Medical Center on Lake Avenue.  She leaves her daughter, Ava K. Whitney, of South Grafton; her parents John and Carol Pilibosian, of Whitinsville, her grandmother, Anne MacLeod, also of Whitinsville; several aunts, uncles and cousins; her former husband Ronald Whitney, of Linwood; and her best friend Annemarie Ouellette, of South Grafton.

Heather was born in Framingham, December 14, 1976. She grew up in Northbridge and graduated from the Whitinsville Christian School.  After high school, she attended the former Lib's Beauty Academy, in Worcester.  She worked many years at Studio 79, in Grafton, first as a stylist, then became owner when the original owner retired, and she purchased the salon.  Upon selling the salon, Heather began work as a salesperson at Rotman's Furniture, a job she excelled at and enjoyed.  She currently was working in Chesnut Hill as a sales consultant for Bluemercury.

Art and music of the 60's and 70's were among Heather's interests.  She loved her two dogs and all animals.  Narragansett, Rhode Island was one of her favorite places to spend time.  Her daughter Ava was the greatest joy of her life; their relationship was more like that of sisters.

Visitation will be at the Whitinsville United Presbyterian Church, Friday, May 19, 2023, from 9-11AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11AM.  **Please use the Spring Street ramp entrance to the church.**
