Jacqueline M. (Bagdasarian) Dolson

Jacqueline M. (Bagdasarian) Dolson, died Friday, August 11, 2023, at the UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus.  She leaves two sons: Scott Dolson and his wife Lynn, of Northbridge and Travis Dolson and his wife Krystyna, of Jamaica Plain; two sisters; Linda Bagdasarian, of South Grafton and Nadine Premo and her husband Gary, of Sutton; 4 grandchildren, Alyssa, Cameron, Trevor and Kate; a niece, Brandis Premo and nephew Jonathan Premo and his wife Idhaly, and great nephew Ayden, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins, both in the United States and France.

Jackie was born in Northbridge, December 26, 1947, a daughter of the late Jerry and Armen (Dertlian) Bagdasarian.  After graduating from Northbridge High School in 1965, she studied nursing at the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.   For many years, she worked as a Registered Nurse in the emergency room at Memorial Hospital.  After leaving the hospital, she worked as a case manager for Holy Trinity Nursing Home and Beaumont Nursing Home.  When her sons were young, they enjoyed camping at the ocean; she loved Maine, its beaches and lobster.   She enjoyed cooking and baking and was known for her apple pies. Later, Jackie enjoyed going on cruises.  She loved all animals, especially cats, and provided a home to many rescues over the years.

Calling Hours are Monday, August 21, 2023, from 5-7PM, at Carr Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be at 11AM, Tuesday, August 22, in Pine Grove Cemetery, Whitinsville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Community Cat Connection, 289 Thompson Rd., Webster, MA 01570.
