Jean Verdon, 71, died Thursday, August 6, in the Saint Camillus Health Center. She is survived by her father, James K. Verdon; a brother, James K. Verdon, Jr.,and his wife, Diane, of Port Charlotte, Florida; two sisters, Joyce E. Verdon, of Belmont, New Hampshire, and June E. Laprade, and her husband, William, of Meredith, New Hampshire; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Jean E. (Tessier) Verdon.
Jean was born in Providence, Rhode Island, March 27, 1949, and grew up in Lincoln, where she graduated from Lincoln High School. She lived in Brockton and Douglas before moving to Saint Camillus five years ago. She was an assembler at Stackbin Corp for many years, and previously worked at Peerless Co.
A woman of strong faith, Jean was a former member of St. Jude's Church in Lincoln, RI. She was a talented artist, and won many awards for her paintings. Jean loved people and had many friends in Brockton, Douglas, and the Saint Camillus community.
There are no Funeral Services planned at this time. A Memorial will be held at a future time and date to be announced.
