Jeffrey J. Thibeault Obituary

Jeffrey J. Thibeault, 78, died Friday, March 6, 2026, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.  He leaves his beloved wife of 57 years, Marilyn (Morrissette) Thibeault, a son Jason Thibeault and his wife Jennie, three granddaughters: Madison, Brooklyn, and Charlotte; and a sister-in-law Lois Menard, all of Northbridge, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Born in Northbridge, June 5, 1947, he was the son of Albert and Gloria (Turgeon) Thibeault.  Jeff graduated from Northbridge High School in 1965; he then went to the University of New Hampshire and earned a degree in Medical Technology.  During his long career in the med tech industry, he worked in several area hospitals before spending 30+ years in computer software sales at MEDITECH in Canton, MA until his retirement in 2014.

Over the years, Jeff volunteered his time in many capacities to Saint Peter's Church in Northbridge, where he was a life-long parishioner.

Jeff loved being surrounded by family and friends and especially spending his summers at their home in Pine Point, Maine.  Jeff and Marilyn traveled extensively and took many trips to Europe including several riverboat cruises which he documented through his love of photography.   He enjoyed following all of the Boston sports teams but had a particular passion for soccer.  Jeff loved seeing his granddaughters pursue their academic and athletic accomplishments, much like he did when Jason was younger.  His wife, son, daughter-in-law and granddaughters were the greatest joy of his life.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Milford Regional Medical Center, UMASS Memorial Medical Center and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Milford for their incredible care and compassion during Jeff’s illness.

Calling Hours at Carr Funeral Home, are Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 3-5PM.  Jeff's Funeral Mass will be at 11AM, Monday, March 16, 2026, at Saint Peter's Church, 39 Church Ave., Northbridge.  Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Providence Road, Northbridge.
