John (Jay) Patrick Lang died unexpectedly last week at the age of 42 in Revere, MA. Jay grew up in Northbridge, MA attending Northbridge Public Schools, where he played football. After high school he worked in the construction industry and loved working with his hands. He went on to spend many years bartending in various Boston restaurants and worked most recently at Logan Airport. He was a collector who enjoyed restoring and working on things from furniture to motorcycles. With his phone in hand, he thought of himself as an amateur photographer, walking through Boston capturing images of all that his favorite city had to offer.

Jay leaves behind his father John P. Lang, Jr, his sister Carrie Lang and her partner Kristopher Swinney, his nephew Easton Swinney, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Gail (Kryzak) Lang.
