Jordyn C. Mahoney, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021, one month shy of her 21st birthday.  She leaves her father David Mahoney, of Whitinsville, four siblings: Jacob and Joshua Mahoney, of Seekonk and Mason Emery and Colton Oxx, of S. Kingston, RI; grandparents  Patrick and Elaine Mahoney, of Whitinsville, and William and Christine Carlson, of Coventry, RI; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.  Jordyn was predeceased by her mother, Trudy Oxx, in 2015.

Jordyn was born October 15, 2000, in Providence, RI.  She grew up in Northbridge and graduated in 2019 from Northbridge High School.  She played soccer, softball and basketball for Northbridge youth sports teams and for the Northbridge middle and high school teams.  Jordyn loved animals and could form an immediate connection with any animal she encountered.

Jordyn will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.  Through her gift of organ donation, she helped to save the lives of five people.
