Judy Anne Smith, 86, passed away after a brief illness on September 30, 2021. She was the wife of Donald H. Smith, daughter of Phoebe (Wood) Flynn and Walter J. Flynn, sister of Walter J. Flynn, Jr., all who predeceased her.
Judy was a lifetime Grafton resident. She was interested in her community and belonged to numerous organizations over the years. She was an avid horsewoman and had a special fondness for carriage driving and competed at the state fair with her Morgan. She was an animal lover and protector of most all living things.
Upon retiring from the Worcester T&G where she worked for many years, Judy owned and managed an entertainment agency, and undertook the historic restoration of her family property. Judy proudly served on the committee for the creation of the Blackstone Valley Heritage Corridor.
She was a loyal friend to scores of people and will be sorely missed for her wit and dauntless spirit as well as her edge and endless creativity.
Friends and family are invited to meet and witness Judy’s final journey on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 10:00 AM. Please assemble at the Grafton Congregational Church parking lot, 30 Grafton Common, Grafton.
