Leonard Arthur White

Leonard "Lenny" A. White, 83, died on Sunday, June 4. He is survived by his two daughters Marijean Arcari and her husband Vincent of Webster and Joanne White of Las Vegas, two grandsons Hunter Orphin and Benjamin Arcari and his companion of 23 years Jo Ann Boudreau of Whitinsville. 

Born in Whitinsville on April 14, 1940, he was the son of the late Leonard J. and Margaret L. (Madden) White. Lenny was a graduate of Northbridge High School Class of 1957. After high school he joined the U.S. Air Force and was very proud to serve his country for 6 years. He received his engineering certificate in 1970 from The New England Institue in Providence, R.I. and went on to work at Thermo Remediation and Kadant of Auburn as a draftsman until his retirement. 

Lenny loved sailing in Newport and Warwick, he enjoyed his yearly trips to Loring Air Force base in Maine and Point Orlando, Fl.  He always looked forward to trips to the casinos at Foxwoods and in Las Vegas. He enjoyed watching all sports; he attended many Northbridge Football games over the years.  

Mr. White's services will be held on Wednesday, June 7, at Carr Funeral Home 24 Hill St., Whitinsville, with calling hours from 9 to 11 am followed by a service at 11.  Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Northbridge American Legion Baseball Club Post 343 c/o John Berkowicz, 7 Walker St., Whitinsville, MA 01588.
