Lucille "Lulu" (Roy) Blair, 96, died Sunday, February 18, 2024, at her home. Her husband of 59 years John J. Blair died in 2006. Lucille is survived by her 5 children: John J. Blair, Jr. of FL, Bruce Blair and his wife Linda of Northbridge, Mark R. Blair and his wife Susan of Uxbridge, Sharon Blair of Uxbridge and Betsy Haley and her companion Cameron of MI.; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her 4 brothers, William, Herbert, Donald and Clarence Roy, and 2 sisters, Jeannette Gauvin and Doris Laverne.
Born in the Rockdale section of Northbridge, she was the daughter of the late William and Delores (Levasque) Roy. Lulu lived in Northbridge her entire life and attended St. Peter's School. She volunteered her time as a poll worker during several town elections, enjoyed baking, cooking, traveling with her family, and going out to eat. As an avid knitter she made numerous doilies, scarves, mittens and sweaters for her family and friends, and gifted them as a "thank you" to many people. Lucille's family was the center of her life, and she enjoyed spending time with all of them.
Her funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the League School for Autism, 300 Boston Providence Turnpike, East Walpole, MA, 02032.
