Madisyn C. Burdick
Madisyn C. Burdick Obituary
Madisyn Correy Burdick, 22, of Northbridge left us much too soon on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. She now watches over her loving parents, with whom she lived, Jerry and Michele (Oikle) Burdick; her biological father John Lynch of California; two brothers Jerry Burdick Jr. of Northbridge and Bryan Burdick and his fiancé Jenee Lachapelle of Uxbridge; two sisters Sara and her husband Nick Sokol of Sturbridge, and Melissa and her husband Jeff Small of Sutton; two nieces and nine nephews; her maternal grandparents Lee and Carol Oikle of Uxbridge and her maternal grandmother Joyce Fontaine of Uxbridge and paternal grandmother Florence Hayes of Worcester.
She was born in Worcester, MA on October 10, 2001. Maddy was a lifelong resident of Northbridge, graduated from Northbridge High School Class of 2020 and furthered her education at Toni and Guy Cosmetology School in Worcester. Over the years Madisyn was a cheerleader in the Blackstone Valley Pop Warner League and was cheer captain of the Northbridge cheerleading team. She also loved playing on the town's flag football team where she showed all the boys, that girls can play too.
Maddy was a true "people person” and loved connecting with her customers at Jumbo Donuts in Uxbridge where she worked for the past few years. She was also an extraordinary aunt who was always present for her nieces and nephews. But her true joy in life was going to any and all country music concerts. Unsurprisingly, she was always able to talk her way backstage. She was the life of the party, with her boots, cowboy hat and of course her signature red lipstick. She was also an actress, making her film debut in the short film "Happy Hour'' earlier this year. Madisyn's radiant smile, infectious personality and generous heart will be missed by her family and friends for generations.
Maddy's calling hours will be held on Friday October 11, 2024, at Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill St. Whitinsville, MA from 2-5 P.M. The family will hold a Celebration of Life starting at 8 P.M. on Friday, October 11th in the outdoor space at the Valley Pub, 40 Plummer Ave, Whitinsville, MA 01588. Due to limited parking at the Valley Pub please consider carpooling. Memorial donations may be made to the GoFund me page created by her family in response to her sudden passing.
