Margaret W. Taft

Margaret W. Taft, 77, died Saturday, October 14, in the Lahey Clinic Hospital, Burlington, MA. The daughter of the late William and Lois (Ferry) Taft, Margaret was born in Worcester, November 4, 1945. She grew up in Sutton and graduated from Sutton High School. She continued her education at Clarke University and Brown University, and she earned a Doctorate in Mathematics from Clarke University.

Margaret taught at Potsdam State University in New York, before settling into a long career as a technical writer at several computer companies, most recently at Oracle.

A member of Phi Beta Kappa, one of Margaret's favorite pastimes was visiting museums.

Margaret is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Scott Humes, Dudley Hickory, Jennifer Adams, Sarah Hickory, Jillian Hickory, Joshua Hickory, and Dawn Hickory. She was predeceased by her nephew, William Hickory.

In accordance with Margaret's wishes she will be interred with her parents in Pine Grove Cemetery, Whitinsville, MA, on October 26, at 11am.
