Marie E. (Paquette) Henderson, died peacefully Monday, February 17, 2025, while surrounded by her devoted family.  She leaves two sons,  George B. Henderson, Jr. and his partner Lori Trottier, of Uxbridge, and Stephen Henderson and his wife Deborah, of Northbridge; 3 daughters: Diane Henderson and her husband Mark VandenAkker, of Sutton; Wendy Jameson and her husband Derek, of Mendon; and Jessica Lynch and her husband Bryan, of Douglas; a brother James Paquette, of Florida; 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.  Mrs. Henderson was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, George B. Henderson, Sr., her daughter Pamela, her siblings Bobby, Joe, Trish and Betty, and her daughter in law Cindy. 
 
A Leap Year baby, Marie was born February 29, 1940, in Bedford, MA, a daughter of Charles and Marion (Shaw) Paquette.  When Marie was a baby, the family moved to Sutton, where she was raised and graduated from Sutton High School in 1959, a Sutton Suzie. After graduation she began working at Whitin Machine Works where she met her husband, George.  After retiring in 2002, from Kidde-Fenwal in Ashland, after working more than 20 years, she and George moved to Palmer, where they remained until returning to the area in 2016.  
 
For many years Marie loved spending time in Narragansett, Rhode Island.  Her family was the center of her life. She especially loved the Christmas season, watching Christmas movies, and cuddling with the kids.  She enjoyed a good joke and was known for having a terrific sense of humor.  Marie was a selfless person who always put others first, especially her family.
